  第一讲摘要:

In this session a general introduction will cover the field of energy. The concept of energy will be defined as precisely as possible and then illustrated by concrete examples. The first part of the talk will give a historical view on the energies at our scale but also at ultra-small and ultra-big systems. A focus will be given to the energy scale to illustrate the broad amplitude of such physical and chemical concept.

The main forms of energy will be compared and their differences and similarities will be discussed in the light of modern science. The "non-conventional" energies will be briefly introduced.  A special highlight will concern the storability of the most know forms of energy. The energy issues facing humanity will be briefly addressed

The second part of the talk will be dedicated to the chemical energy, its origins, forms and the different way to produce it, convert it into useable forms.

The third part of the talk will focus on the revolutionary energy systems based on electrochemistry. All the kind of electrochemical systems will be introduced in a chronological way. This includes, batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells etc.

Finally, the last part will be dedicated to history of Lithium ion batteries, their invention, development and a perspective for the coming years.

  报告人简介:

Dr. Moulay Tahar SOUGRATI is a CNRS Research Engineer. In 2008, He achieved his PhD in Material physics at the university of Rouen (France). After 2 years as assistant professor at the university of Liège (Belgium) in the group of Profs Gary Long and Fernande Grandjean, He moved to Montpellier (France) where He is in charge of the M?ssbauer spectroscopy platform of Charles Gerhardt Institute (ICG). His work is focused on the application of Mossbauer spectroscopy to the characterization of materials for different topics such as Geology, Inorganic Chemistry and especially in the field of energy storage and conversion. Since 2009, He has been working on different families of anode and cathode materials for Lithium, Sodium and potassium-ion batteries including phosphates, sulfates, oxides, intermetallic alloys etc. He contributed to investigation of reaction mechanisms using operando Mossbauer spectroscopy. He is also applying Mossbauer spectroscopy to iron-based precious-metal-free catalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction. He is a member of the French Mossbauer Group (GFSM) and He is actively involved in the European (ALISTORE) and the French (RS2E) networks for electrochemical energy storage. A significant part of his work is carried out within international collaborations (China, USA, UK, Morocco, Japan etc).He has co-authored more than 170 papers, 3 patents and 2 book chapters. He has an impact factor of 40 with around 10000 citations.
