会议简介（Introduction）：
IZMM2016 is the continuation of a successful series including the IZMM conferences at Gifu-Japan (1998), Purmerend-The Netherlands (2001), Breckenridge-Colorado (2004), Zaragoza-Spain (2007), Loutraki-Greece (2010), and Jeju-Korea (2013). IZMM2016, organized by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and Jilin University, is the premier international meeting in the area of zeolite membranes, and is held every three years. The scientists from all around the world are given the opportunity to present, share, and discuss their recent findings and ideas about synthesis, characterization and application of different types of zeolite membranes, as well as to identify the future challenges of the field. 6 Plenary, 20 keynote, 18 oral and 22 short oral presentations as well as poster are included.
