报告摘要:
Nowadays, one of the major challenges for the chemical industry is the development of innovative processes with less by product formation, improved product yields and high energy efficiency. Microreactor technology provides unique solutions to meet these requirements. Microstructured chemical reactors are characterized by channels dimensions in the submillimeter range and, thus, high surface to volume ratios. The coupling of microwave and/or radiofrequency heating with microprocessing in flow-through reactors will be presented. The integrated concept of both technologies leads to better processing issues, such as a better heating in terms of heating speed, precision of temperature ramping, improved heat transfer performance and a higher selectivity due to a better definition of residence time. Selected applications of the integrated approach for large-scale synthesis of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals as well as for energy storage will be presented.
报告人简介:
Evgeny Rebrov is full professor in Process and Reactor Engineering in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast since 2010. In 2007 he got a fellowship from the British Council-NWO partnership program in science and went to Cambridge University (UK), where he worked on the synthesis and characterisation of bimetallic nanoparticles. In 2011, the European Research Council has awarded Prof. Evgeny Rebrov a prestigious ERC Starting Grant to pursue frontier research in non traditional energy sources. This ERC grant addresses the development of advanced composite magnetic microparticles to be applied for efficient and fast heating using radiofrequency field and for improvement of mass transfer in laminar flow via magnetic actuation. The same year he received a UK-US New Partnership Award as part of the Strategic Alliances and Partnerships strand of the US-UK Prime Minister’s Initiative for International Education. In 2012 Prof Rebrov obtained his DSc in Chemical Engineering from Lomonosov Moscow University of Fine Chemical Technology. He is member of the Scientific Committee of international conference on micro and nano flows (MNF), member of the Young Academy of Europe (YAE) and corresponding member of the Scientific Council for Catalysis at the Department of Chemistry and Materials Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 2011-2012 he has organised two international seminars on process intensification in Belfast.
Prof. Evgeny Rebrov has published more than 95 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and provided many key-note and plenary lectures at international scientific conferences.
