报告人主要研究领域:
Heterogeneous catalysis for green chemistry and sustainable energy. Particular interest in the design of tailored nanoparticles and nanoporous architectures with tunable structural, electronic and catalytic properties. Their work is applied to chemoselective catalysis, biomaterials, magnetic devices, and heritage science. They also develop time-resolved X-ray spectroscopies to elucidate structure-function relationships of materials under real-world environments employing laboratory and synchrotron X-ray methods. Recent projects include selective oxidation and hydrogenation of fine chemicals, photocatalysis for solar fuels, renewable biofuels production, antibacterial nanocomposites, and superhydrophobic coatings to conserve York Minster cathedral.
